As the southwest monsoon bid aideu to Mumbai on Saturday, the city experienced the familiar 'October Heat'—a period marked by rising temperatures

The impact is particularly noticeable in South Mumbai, where heritage buildings, busy streets, heavy pedestrian movement, and the city’s coastal humidity combine to make outdoor conditions challenging for residents, office-goers, and street vendors (Pic/Atul Kamble)
