Following the incident, Mumbai Police, Traffic Police, Fire Brigade personnel and BMC officials reached the spot to manage the situation and facilitate the removal of the overturned truck

The officials worked to clear the road and regulate traffic as the incident affected vehicular movement on the flyover. The overturned vehicle and soil scattered on the road led to traffic slowing down in the area

Efforts were also underway to remove the truck and any debris or soil from the carriageway so that normal traffic movement could resume

The exact circumstances that led to the truck overturning are yet to be ascertained. Officials were assessing the situation and carrying out clearance operations at the site

Oil spilt from the vehicle onto the third lane, prompting authorities to restrict traffic movement to two lanes

Mumbaikars are advised to avoid the route towards Thakur Village and Mira Road following a major accident involving an overturned dumper. The bridge has been temporarily closed, with recovery operations currently underway

Commuters travelling through the stretch should expect delays of at least 40 minutes

The service road is also heavily congested due to the accident, further affecting traffic movement in the area. Further updates are awaited.
