MSEDCL said it achieved this milestone through structured planning and a farmer-first approach

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, "Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his transformative PM-KUSUM initiative, in one month, we have installed more than 45,911 solar pumps across the state, making Maharashtra the No. 1 state in India for solar agriculture"

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis praised the achievement and said it strengthens Maharashtra’s move towards sustainable farming
