Govindas, dressed in their pathak's uniform, showcased their teamwork and determination as they attempted to reach and break the earthen pots, or handis, suspended at great heights and filled with curd, butter, and other goodies, symbolising the childhood pranks of Lord Krishna

In areas such as Dadar, Lower Parel, Worli, Thane, and other parts of Mumbai, streets are echoing with chants of “Govinda Ala Re!” as spectators cheer for participants

Local mandals organised large-scale events, with some offering prize money to encourage Govinda pathaks to reach greater heights

The Parivartan Dahi Handi Utsav at Jambori Maidan, Worli, was also graced by the presence of the Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis
