Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aaditya Thackeray on Tuesday slammed the BJP government for the monsoon crisis situation in Mumbai. He blamed the ruling party for the large- scale waterlogging issues across the city. Thackeray criticised the Maharashtra government for not being prepared for the monsoon and blamed the government for neglecting the farmers affected by the recent downpour.

Responding to Union Home Minister Amit Shah's remarks on Balasaheb Thackeray and Operation Sindoor, Thackeray said, "All these statements here and there are fine, but Mumbaikars want an answer as to why the BJP has brought Mumbai to this condition -- the condition which we saw yesterday."
