The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has released its latest rainfall data for the 24-hour period between 8 am on July 5 and 8 am on July 6, revealing widespread heavy rainfall across Mumbai, with several areas recording more than 200 mm of rain.

According to the BMC, Vikroli recorded the highest rainfall in the city at 248.8 mm during the period. It was closely followed by Malvani Fire Station with 248 mm, Borivali Fire Station with 243.2 mm, and Chincholi Fire Station with 239 mm.
