A 47-year-old man sustained a severe head injury after a tree branch snapped and fell on him near the Andheri subway on Wednesday morning. The victim has been identified as Adesh Gaikar, a resident of Virar East.

According to the Andheri police, the incident occurred around 8.50 am as Gaikar was walking towards his office with a friend after they both got down at Andheri station.
