Two adult male tigers, STR-07 and STR-08, have been recorded in the Radhanagari Wildlife Sanctuary, taking the total count in the Sahyadri Tiger Reserve (STR) landscape to nine. Their presence was confirmed through camera traps, pugmarks, and other scientific methods. Preliminary findings indicate that both tigers occupy separate territories. The forest department is analysing their movement routes, habitat use, and water-source dependence to map their range.
