Maharashtra: Wall of house collapses in Thane’s Wagle Estate; no injuries reported

Officials from the electricity department disconnected the power supply to the affected house as a precautionary measure. A safety barricade was also installed around the area by the Disaster Management Cell to prevent accidents

A portion of a residential house wall collapsed in Thane’s Wagle Estate area on Wednesday afternoon, officials said, adding that no injuries were reported in the incident.

According to the Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC), the incident was reported at around 12.56 pm on August 5, 2026. The house is located beside Maitri Heights, in Ambika Nagar No. 1, Ambika Nagar, Wagle Estate, Thane West in Maharashtra.
