<p>Thane reported 358 new Covid-19 cases, raising its infection tally to 1,86,933, according to Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) on June 16.</p>
<p>With this, the active cases in the city stand at 1,803.</p>
<p>As per the bulletin, 158 Covid patients recovered, taking the total number of recoveries since the beginning in the city to 1,82,999.</p>
<p>The recovery rate in the TMC area is 97.90 per cent. There was no fatality on June 16 and the death toll in the district remained unchanged at 2,131.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Maharashtra on June 15 recorded 4,255 new coronavirus infections, highest since February 12, and three pandemic- related fatalities, the state health department said.</p>
<p>The active caseload rose to 20,634 on Thursday. As many as 2,879 patients recovered from COVID-19 in the state since previous evening, which took the tally of recovered patients to 77,55,183. The recovery rate in the state is 97.87 per cent.</p>
