The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) on Tuesday said Municipal Commissioner Saurabh Rao has directed all agencies to complete ongoing repair and infrastructure works on Ghodbunder Road by May 30 to ensure smoother traffic flow ahead of the monsoon.

According to the TMC, the directive was issued following a joint inspection of the arterial stretch and adjoining areas involving officials from the civic body, the Public Works Department, metro authorities, and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority.
