Maharashtra Fisheries Minister Nitesh Rane on Tuesday directed officials to expedite work on the proposed Silla Aquarium and Sea Lion Entertainment Centre in Panvel, with a target of laying its foundation stone by Diwali.

The proposed facility will come up at the fisheries sub-centre in Panvel in Raigad district and is envisioned as a marine tourism, education and research destination.
