A joint team comprising the International Organisation for Animal Protection (OIPA), Amma Care Foundation (ACF) and Plant and Animals Welfare Society – Mumbai (PAWS-Mumbai) rescued five Indian rock pythons from different parts of Mumbai over five days, an official statement said.

After each rescue, the snakes were examined by wildlife veterinarians before being released safely into their natural habitat with the support of the Forest Department.
