A day after Shiv Sena MLA Mangesh Kudalkar’s wife was found hanging at her residence in Kurla, her son from a previous marriage has asked cops to register an abetment to suicide case.

Rajni’s son, Harshal Umesh Bhate, 22, approached the Nehru Nagar police soon after performing the last rites of his mother. He claimed to have got a message from her before she took the extreme step. Cops also questioned a woman from the victim’s family.
