<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/maharashtra-sharad-pawar-admitted-to-punes-ruby-hall-clinic-for-medical-observation-23658185" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Nationlist Congress Party (NCP SP) chief Sharad Pawar</a> was on Wednesday admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital on Wednesday, hours after being discharged earlier in the day.
His daughter and NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule shared the update in a post on social media platform X, saying that the veteran leader was being admitted for further medical tests.
"We are admitting Baba to Breach Candy Hospital for further tests. Thank you all for your concern and good wishes," Sule wrote.

<h2>Supriya Sule shares health update</h2>
Sule's post came hours after <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/sharad-pawar-health-update-pm-modi-calls-ncp-sp-chief-during-hospital-stay-sparking-political-buzz-in-maharashtra-23658464" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Sharad Pawar was discharged</a> from the hospital earlier on Wednesday.&nbsp;
Pawar was earlier admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic on November 2 after experiencing a bout of cough and chest discomfort.&nbsp;
Doctors evaluated him after he complained of chest pain while coughing and breathing. He was kept under observation as a precaution.
According to an official statement issued by Dr Parvez K Grant, chief cardiologist, chairman and managing trustee of Ruby Hall Clinic, Pawar's condition had improved and he was stable at the time of discharge. His medical reports were also reported to be satisfactory.
After his discharge on Wednesday, Pawar left for his Mumbai residence. <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/sharad-pawar-hospitalised-ncp-sp-chief-sharad-pawar-hospitalised-in-pune-supriya-sule-says-health-parameters-stable-23658144" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Doctors had advised him to rest</a> for a few days before resuming public engagements.
<h2>PM Modi speaks to Pawar</h2>
PM Modi spoke to Pawar earlier on Wednesday to enquire about his health, the IANS reported.
Pawar's family friend and close associate Vitthal Maniyar confirmed the phone call while speaking to reporters outside the hospital. He said PM Modi had warmly urged Pawar to prioritise his health and take adequate rest.
Speaking to media persons outside the hospital, Maniyar said that <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/cabinet-approves-rs-2814-crore-critical-minerals-scheme-pm-modi-highlights-need-for-domestic-processing-23658490" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">PM Modi</a> warmly requested the veteran politician to prioritise his health and rest.
"Supriya and we will handle the country. You take care of your health and rest. Let your blessings remain with us," PM Modi told the senior leader, according to Maniyar.
Pawar thanked PM Modi for calling and reassured him that he was resting. "With all of you around, I have no worries about the country," he said, the news agency reported.
