Security force foils attempt to smuggle Rs 30.83 lakh foreign currency at Mumbai Airport, passenger held

According to officials, CISF personnel detected 1,20,000 UAE Dirhams in the hand baggage of an international passenger during routine screening at the Integrated Security Hold Area (SHA). The passenger was scheduled to fly to Dubai on Emirates flight EK-505

In a swift security action at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport’s Terminal-2, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) intercepted an attempt to illegally transport foreign currency worth approximately Rs 30.83 lakh on Saturday.
According to officials, CISF personnel detected 1,20,000 UAE Dirhams in the hand baggage of an international passenger during routine screening at the Integrated Security Hold Area (SHA). The passenger was scheduled to fly to Dubai on Emirates flight EK-505.
