The Igatpuri Tunnel on the Mumbai-bound carriageway of the Hindu Hridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg (Samruddhi Expressway) will remain closed for an hour on Thursday, August 27, to facilitate a fire safety drill.

The drill will be conducted between 12 noon and 1 pm as part of preventive fire safety measures at the tunnel. During this period, vehicles travelling towards Mumbai will not be allowed to pass through the Igatpuri Tunnel.
