Gangster Anmol Bishnoi, currently lodged in Delhi's Tihar Jail, has approached a special court in Mumbai seeking permission to surrender in the 2024 firing case outside actor Salman Khan's residence, stating that he wants to participate in the judicial proceedings "in the interest of a fair trial and justice."

Anmol, the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, filed the application before the special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) court, requesting that the court formally record his surrender in the case being investigated by the Mumbai Police.
