CM Fadnavis orders to fast-track land acquisition for Purandar airport, says will be developed for Pune's future needs

While speaking at a project review meeting at his official residence, Varsha, in south Mumbai, Fadnavis directed the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) to complete land acquisition for the greenfield airport within a fixed timeline

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday ordered to fast-track the land acquisitions for Purandar airport, saying it will be developed for Pune's future needs, reported the PTI.

The proposed Purandar airport will be developed to meet Pune’s future needs amid rapid growth in infrastructure, industrialisation and urbanisation, he said.
