Pune, the cultural capital of Maharashtra, is expected to remain under the cover of generally cloudy skies with moderate to heavy showers, according to the Indian Meteorological Department.

The rain, described as "light to moderate" in the city, is anticipated to be heavier in scattered places over the Western Ghats.
