Panvel Railway Police arrest interstate train robber, recover jewellery worth Rs 26 lakh

Panvel Railway Police arrested an interstate train robber and recovered stolen gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 26.31 lakh. The accused, a Ghaziabad resident, was apprehended after deboarding the Mangala Lakshadweep Express, with the arrest also helping police solve a railway theft case registered in Goa.

Alert surveillance by the Panvel Railway Police led to the arrest of an interstate train robber and recovery of stolen gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 26.31 lakh. The arrest also helped police crack a railway theft case in Goa. The accused, Raghu Suman Khosla, 41, a resident of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, was apprehended on July 17 after he deboarded the Mangala Lakshadweep Express at Panvel railway station.
