Cases in Mumbai rose marginally for the second consecutive day, with the BMC recording 733 Covid-19 positive cases on Saturday. However, the city saw a dip in the number of fatalities, with 18 deaths being reported.
After recording the lowest daily Covid-19 numbers in the second wave on June 3, Mumbai saw a rise in Covid cases earlier last week, but the numbers remained below the 1,000 mark. The doubling rate has continued to significantly improve and is now at 633 days.
