Maharashtra: Palghar hit by 3.5 magnitude earthquake, no damage reported

The latest tremor follows another minor earthquake that struck the district on July 25, when a 3.1 magnitude tremor was recorded in the Ganjad area of Dahanu taluka during a period of heavy rainfall

A 3.5 magnitude earth tremor was recorded in Maharashtra's Palghar district on Tuesday afternoon, making it the second seismic event in the area within three days, reported the PTI.
Officials said there were no reports of injuries or damage to property following the tremor.
