The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced the launch of an ‘Adopt-a-Road’ initiative aimed at ensuring the regular cleaning and maintenance of roads across Mumbai city and its suburbs.

The project, spearheaded by the Solid Waste Management Department, seeks to promote sustainable upkeep and accountability for over 730 major roads in the metropolitan region.
