A series of wrong-number calls finally led Vanrai police to the right person and reunited a missing 19-year-old woman from Uttar Pradesh with her family. Found wandering alone in Goregaon East at around 3 am on November 2, the woman could not recall her family's contact details clearly.

Police kept trying different combinations of the mobile number she remembered until one call connected them to her brother. He travelled to Mumbai, and after verification, she was handed over to him on November 4.
