Mumbai is likely to experience generally cloudy conditions with spells of rain on Sunday, August 16. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast highlighted light to moderate rainfall across Mumbai, Thane and surrounding areas over the next 24 hours.

In an update issued at 9 am on Sunday, the IMD said Mumbai and neighbouring areas were likely to receive light to moderate rain. The weather department’s forecast at 9 am also indicated a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain in the city and suburbs.
