Mumbai weather update: IMD forecasts haze, temperatures near 35 degrees Celsius as city air quality remains moderate at 122

Hazy conditions are expected during morning hours, with skies clearing by afternoon and evening, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. Maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius and 20 degrees Celsius, respectively.

According to the SAMEER app, Mumbai’s Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 122 on Sunday, placing it in the ‘moderate’ category. Such air quality may cause breathing discomfort to people with lung disorders, asthma and heart ailments.
