Mumbai woke up to hazy skies and humid conditions on Monday, October 26, as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast dry weather across Mumbai, Thane and Palghar over the next 24 hours. Temperatures are expected to remain high, with the maximum likely to reach around 36 degrees Celsius in the city and its suburbs.

The hazy conditions have also drawn attention to air quality, with Mumbai’s overall Air Quality Index (AQI) reported at 114 on Monday morning, placing it in the moderate category.
