Mumbai woke up to sunny and partly cloudy skies on Friday morning, with no signs of rainfall across the city and neighbouring regions. However, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast occasional light-to-moderate spells of rain in Mumbai and its suburbs later in the day.

In its 8 am weather bulletin, the IMD said the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 32 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively.
