Mumbai trains update: Outstation trains to start from Jogeshwari Junction by January 2027; hotel and mall planned in Phase 2

Mumbai commuters could soon see major infrastructure upgrades in the western suburbs, with outstation trains set to begin operating from Jogeshwari Junction from January 2027 and plans being explored to develop the station into a modern multimodal transit hub featuring a hotel and shopping mall.
