Mumbai: Three rescued unhurt after old bungalow collapses in Walkeshwar area

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) received a call regarding the collapse at around 10.23 am. Emergency teams were alerted and rescue operations were carried out at the site

An old bungalow partially collapsed in Mumbai’s Walkeshwar area on Saturday morning, with three people rescued from the site without injuries, civic officials said.

The incident was reported from Walkeshwar Road in the Tin Batti area, opposite Anurag Building and near Jabareshwar Gully. According to preliminary information from the civic authorities, part of a ground-plus-two-storey structure collapsed onto a nearby chawl.
