After a technical failure struck the VC FLEX Switch, all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) locations across Mumbai came to a standstill on Saturday afternoon. The pause in PRS rendered the system non-functional from 1:00 pm.

As reported, the switch had gone into “down status”, affecting PRS operations across Central Railway (CR), Western Railway (WR), Konkan Railway (KRCL) and West Central Railway (WCR).
