The University of Mumbai (MU) has postponed all examinations scheduled to be held in colleges across Palghar district on Saturday, July 4, following heavy rainfall and a holiday declared by the district administration.

Amid the extreme spells of rain across the city and surrounding areas, in a notification issued by the Director, Examination and Evaluation Board, the University said that the decision was taken after the Palghar District Collector, through a circular dated July 3, 2026, declared a holiday for colleges in the district.
