IMD issues yellow alert for Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, and Raigad districts; expect heavy rainfall at isolated places

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Mumbai, Palghar, Thane, Raigad, and Ratnagiri districts for Saturday, indicating heavy rainfall at isolated places, along with lightning and thunder.
In its latest weather update, IMD stated that Mumbai is likely to experience “partly cloudy sky with light to moderate rain in city and suburbs” along with with the “possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in the suburbs”.
