With Mumbai witnessing its first red alert this monsoon on Saturday, several areas experienced torrential downpour, and rain-related mishaps.

A major cave-in at an excavation site on LBS Marg swallowed a stationary temp truck and trees on Saturday afternoon. Fortunately, there were no casualties. According to officials, a nearly-100-by-100-foot stretch gave way around 2.40 pm opposite Asian Paints in Bhandup West.
