PNG supply affected after pipeline damage near Portuguese Church in Dadar

A gas pipeline belonging to Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) ruptured in Mumbai’s Dadar West area on Friday evening after it was accidentally struck by a JCB machine during excavation work, officials said.
The incident took place on Gokhale Road near the Portuguese Church and close to Mejwani restaurant. According to officials, the machine was clearing tree roots in the area when it damaged the pipeline.
