Peacock rescued in Borivali, released back into wild after health check (Pic/Special arrangement)

A peacock rescued from the Vipassana Pagoda area in Uttan, Gorai, Borivali, was released back into the wild on Sunday after undergoing a medical examination and being declared fit for release.

The peacock was rescued on Saturday, August 8, with the assistance of Forest Department officials and members of the SARRP India NGO, led by Santosh Shinde.
