Mumbai rains: Powai, Vikhroli, Andheri record over 110 mm of rain in 7 hours; check area-wise figures

Heavy monsoon showers lashed Mumbai on Wednesday, with Powai, Vikhroli and Andheri recording more than 110 mm of rainfall in just seven hours. According to the BMC, Powai received the highest rainfall at 118.4 mm between 8 am and 3 pm, while neighbouring Thane recorded 71.59 mm of rain

Heavy monsoon showers continued to lash Mumbai and neighbouring Thane on Wednesday, with parts of the city recording over 100 mm of rainfall in just seven hours, according to data released by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).
