MMRDA achieves 60 per cent progress on 600 TPD facility in Badlapur (File pic)

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) achieved 60 per cent physical progress on its 600 tonnes per dDay (TPD) Integrated Solid Waste Processing Facility being developed at Badlapur for Ambernath, Kulgaon-Badlapur, and Ulhasnagar areas of Thane district.

According to an official statement from MMRDA, the project is being supported under the KfW-funded Mumbai Metropolitan Region Urban Infrastructure Improvement Programme (MMRUIIP).
