Mumbai Metro One has launched a fully digital metro pass on WhatsApp, allowing commuters travelling on the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar corridor to purchase, store and use passes directly through the messaging platform.

According to a release, the initiative, promoted by Reliance Infrastructure, allows commuters to buy multi-trip passes and stored-value travel digitally, eliminating the need for a physical metro pass.
