Western Railway to operate night block between Mahim and Mumbai Central on Oct 10-11

During the block, all fast-line trains will be diverted to the slow lines between Andheri/Santacruz and Churchgate. The change is expected to affect suburban train operations during the four-hour maintenance period

Western Railway, while sharing Mumbai local train updates, on Friday said that it will undertake a jumbo block between Mahim and Mumbai Central stations during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, October 10 and 11, for maintenance work on tracks, signalling systems and overhead equipment, an official statement said.

The block will be in force from 12.25 am to 4.25 am, according to the statement issued by Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Vineet Abhishek.
