WR to operate a night block between Mumbai's Borivali and Goregaon stations this weekend

During this period, the UP slow line trains will be diverted to the UP fast line between Borivali and Andheri, and will not halt at Ram Mandir station due to the unavailability of a platform. Several UP and DOWN services will also face cancellations or short terminations

Western Railway (WR) will undertake a night jumbo block of four hours between Borivali and Goregaon stations on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday (September 13/14) to carry out essential maintenance work on tracks, signalling, and overhead equipment.

According to Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of WR, the block will be operated from 12.30 am to 4.30 am on both UP and DOWN slow lines.
