Kalyan-bound AC local train runs past Bhandup station platform, causes concerns among passengers

According to a passenger, the 9:29 am local entered Bhandup station at a relatively high speed. The driver applied brakes sharply on approaching the platform, but the train had already moved too far ahead. The train is scheduled to halt at Bhandup as part of its regular timetable

A Kalyan-bound fast Mumbai AC local train overshot the platform at Bhandup railway station on Tuesday morning, causing concern among passengers.
The train, identified as 95711 Mumbai Suburban Railway service from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) to Kalyan, went ahead by a few coaches beyond the designated stopping point.
