A major disruption during peak hours triggered chaos at CBD Belapur railway station after a Panvel–Wadala local train was abruptly diverted to the carshed, forcing hundreds of commuters to deboard the train midway and scramble for alternate travel options.

According to eyewitnesses, the train, which had originated from Panvel and was scheduled to head towards Wadala, was halted at Platform No. 2 at CBD Belapur. Railway authorities then announced that the service would not continue its journey and would instead be taken to the carshed for operational reasons.
