Central Railway to launch 14 new Mumbai AC local trains on Harbour Line from May 1; check details here

With the upgrade, the total number of AC suburban services on Central Railway will increase to 108. It includes 28 services on the Harbour Line and 80 on the Main Line

Central Railway on Wednesday announced that 14 non-AC suburban train services on the Harbour Line will be upgraded to air-conditioned (AC) services from May 1, 2026.
The move comes in response to growing passenger demand for more comfortable travel options, officials said.
