Mumbai’s seven lakes supplying water to the city have collectively reached 49.83 per cent of their live storage capacity, according to the Hydraulic Engineer’s Department, Master Control Centre (Bhandup Complex) report recorded at 6 am on Saturday, July 11.

The total useful water content in Mumbai’s reservoirs stood at 7,21,278 million litres (ML), compared to 10,69,357 ML (73.88 per cent) during the same period last year and 3,22,143 ML (22.26 per cent) in 2024.
