Mumbai lake levels: Water stock dips to 97.39 per cent, no rainfall recorded

The combined water stock stood at 97.39 per cent of the total useful capacity of 14,47,363 ML, down from 97.58 per cent a day earlier. On the same date last year, the lakes had 14,35,538 ML, or 99.18 per cent of their useful capacity. In 2024, the stock stood at 14,35,524 ML, also 99.18 per cent

Mumbai’s seven lakes supplying water to the city held 14,09,600 million litres (ML) of useful water stock as of 6 am on Saturday, September 26, according to the latest report from the Hydraulic Engineer’s Department, Master Control Centre at Bhandup Complex.
The combined water stock stood at 97.39 per cent of the total useful capacity of 14,47,363 ML, down from 97.58 per cent a day earlier.
