Mumbai lake levels: Seven reservoirs hold 13,87,839 ML water, 95.89 per cent of capacity

Upper Vaitarna stood at 602.87 metres, against its full supply level (FSL) of 603.51 metres and lowest drawdown level (LDL) of 595.44 metres. The reservoir held 2,06,767 ML, equivalent to 91.07 per cent of its useful live storage. Its water level rose by 0.06 metres over the past 24 hours

Mumbai’s seven lakes supplying drinking water to the city held 13,87,839 million litres (ML) of useful water, or 95.89 per cent of their combined live storage capacity, as of 6 am on Saturday, September 5, according to the Hydraulic Engineer’s Department’s latest lake-level report issued by the Bhandup Master Control Centre.

The combined useful live storage capacity of the seven reservoirs is 14,47,363 ML.
