Design changes and upgrades to the upcoming greenfield Jogeshwari Terminus have delayed its completion by a year, but officials say the project will now be more purposeful and better equipped. Initially scheduled for completion by March 2025, the terminus is now expected to be ready in 2027.

The new terminus is aimed at decongesting major terminal stations such as Bandra, Dadar and Mumbai Central.
