The Indian Navy has completed a major refit of the Maldivian Coast Guard ship MNDF Huravee as part of India's ‘MAHASAGAR’ vision – Mutual and Holistic Advancement for Security and Growth for All in the Region – and the ‘Neighbourhood First’ policy, an official statement said on Monday.

The effort is also a part of India’s broader commitment to regional maritime security, it said.
